HD-15 to NTSC Composite Video/S-Video adapter

An HD-15 (RGBS) to NTSC Composite Video and S-Video adapter designed specifically for the Home Arcade System*. Based on the famous Sony CXA2075M.

Comes with a 3D printed enclosure (0.1mm layer height for the best quality).

• Superior S-Video quality.
• Compatible with the NTSC TV sets. PAL TVs may show black and white only (unless they support NTSC color decoding). 
• Due to inherent design limitations of external RGBS to Composite Video adapters in general (asynchronous color subcarrier generation), Composite Video quality will vary depending on the PCB game.
• For low resolution ~240p/480i video only.
• It does not upscale.

*The adapter can be used in other applications:

• It requires a CSync signal on pin #13 of the HD-15 connector - not separate HSync and VSync signals.
• It expects +5V on pin #9 of the HD-15 input to power the adapter.
• For external powering: Use the USB-C port on the side of the adapter. This requires opening jumper JP1 and closing jumper JP2 on the bottom of the PCB (requires soldering). External power must be a clean, stable +5V supply. A low-quality power source with high ripple can introduce noise that will be visible in the displayed picture.
